DAV Centre for Academic Excellence has prepared a document titled, ‘Assessment And Reporting Guidelines’ comprises of Checklists and Cumulative Cards for on-going evaluation of children of Classes-Pre-School to II.
We all know that Evaluation is an integral part of teaching-learning process, which helps us to understand whether the learning objectives, laid down have been achieved. The basic objective of on-going evaluation is to compare the past performance of a child with his present so that a future bearing programme is designed accordingly. Keeping this is mind, these Checklists and Cumulative Cards have been designed term-wise. These are also self-explanatory in nature, thus help the practising teachers to have a continuous and comprehensive assessment of the growth and development of the child in various areas of learning.
